Company history
In 1993, KOLESO Ltd., headquartered in Trencin, Slovakia has been founded.
Since the very beginning we had been building customers satisfaction and retention, strong market positions as well as prosperous long-term business relationships with our partners.
We had started working on the Albanian market exporting and importing different commodities. Albania didn't offer many import possibilities and therefore we were focused on export activities.
In 1995, we got the sole distributor status from Matador Company and started distribution of Matador tires in Albania. Our orientation had been established.
In 1999, the competition was getting stronger and the need for low priced tires was significant. Following this situation we had started cooperation with Giti Tire Company from China in order to increase our competitiveness in poor Albanian market. In a short time we became sole distributor of Gtradial, Runway and Primewell brand.
In 2004, we had started tire distribution in Slovakia. We became sole distributor of Giti Tire Company from China and Nankang Rubber Tire Corporation from Taiwan for our domestic market and Czech Republic.
In 2005 we are aiming to become one of the leading national distributors in Slovakia and make stronger our leading position in Albania. We have launched B2C e-shop.
In 2006 Koleso became the sole distributor of Nexen Tire company from South Korea for the territory of Slovak and Czech Republic. We are to enter Czech market.
